Donald Jean Gleason, 63, Russell, died Tuesday, November 6, 2001, at Hays Medical Center, Hays.

He was born September 20, 1938, at Montrose, Colorado, the son of Roger and Minnie Gleason.
Donald married Virgie Lee Newby, January 17, 1990 at Cortez, Colorado.

He lived his early life in Colorado and resided in Hays from 1994 until moving to Russell in 2000. He was an over the road trucker for many years.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Victoria Gleason; and one grandchild.

Survivors include: his wife of the home; two sons, Sidney Ray Gleason, Russell, and Duane Gleason, Nucla, Colorado; one daughter, Winnie Boltinelli,
Montrose Colorado; one brother, Gerald Lloyd Gleason, Olathe, Colorado; one sister, Donna Hardy, Camarillo, California, 13 grandchildren; and six

The body was cremated and a memorial service will be scheduled at a later time.
