Obituary of PHILLIP RUBE
Phillip Rube, 82, died March 8, (1985), in Lobway, Russia, He had been a resident of Hoisington for 32 years having moved from Russell County. He married Margaret Templing, May 18, 1924, in Susank. He was a retired farmer.

Rube was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church in Hoisington.
Survivors include his wife of the home; one son Leroy of Hoisington; one daughter Mrs. Ervin (Leona) Niedens, of Russell; and five sisters, Natalie Koch, of Ellinwood, Emma White of Rocky Ford, Colo., Clara Yakel of Shawnee Mission, Olinda Strecker of Russell, and Katherine Kuhnhardt of Pueblo, Colo.

Prayer service will be at 8 p.m. Sunday at Nicholson-Ricke Funeral Home in Hoisington. Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the church with the Rev. Garry Dassow officiating. Burial will be at Hoisington Cemetery, Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the funeral home, and from 9 a.m. until service time Monday at the church. Memorials are suggested to the church organ fund.
