Minnie Alzora TILTON BURBACH ~Western Kansas World, WaKeeney, Trego County, Kansas, January 7, 1993.
Minnie Alzora BURBACH was born September 3rd, 1899, at Collyer, Kansas to Elmer J. and Clara (AUSTEN) TILTON. She was a baptized member of the Collyer Methodist Church.
She grew up on her parent's farm spending many hours at her Grandpa TILTON's homestead learning to appreciate the reward of hard work. As a young person, Minnie shared a job with her 3 sisters answering the telephone switchboard for the home based family telephone service.
On November 20, 1918, she married Pete A. BURBACH at the Methodist Church in Collyer. Two children, Nadine CLAYCAMP KROEGER, WaKeeney and Warren BURBACH, Quinter were born to this union.
Minnie is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren. Minnie was preceeded in death by her three sisters, Florence SPARKS, Bertha EHRICH MARTIN HUBALEK* and Ellen BARNES. She has one living sister-in-law, Winnie BURBACH, Wichita Funeral services were held on January 5, 1993, at the United Methodist Church, Quinter, with burial in the Collyer Cemetery. Morell Funeral Home was in charge. Memorials may be made to Youthville, Newton, Kansas, Project Care, WaKeeney or Gold Coat Program, WaKeeney, Ks.Submitted by Doyle G. Ekey
